Pawluk second at BC Champs, Moroz 21st (updated)Published by
Sam Pawluk put last year's DNF at the BC Championships well behind him, taking second place in the senior men's 10 kilometre race today at Aldergrove Lake Park. He completed the course consisting of five hilly two kilometre loops in 32:08.
After the race, Pawluk said "[I] wish it was a bit better, but overall [I'm] very satisfied."
First place in the race went to UBC alumnus Jerry Ziak, who ran 31:57.
UPDATE: Jen Moroz competed in the senior women's six kilometre race, finishing 21st in 25:35. Hilary Stellingwerf, of Speed River TFC, won the race in 21:35.
