Point Grey TFC's Nigel Hole broke the 1:50 barrier in the 800m this weekend clocking 1:49.56 for a new personal best. He and fellow club member, Luc Bruchet, traveled to Kamloops for the annual BC Athletics Jamboree where they both ran the 800m. Bruchet took the race out insuring the field quick times in what is notoriously a very tactical race. Despite this it was a close race to the end with UVic Track Club's Thomas Riva taking the win running 1:49.37; Hole was a close second. Bruchet held on for a solid 1:51.36.
